RESUME

 Universal Pictures has let out the hatch over 12 minutes of behind-the-scenes ”b-roll” footage from Ron Howard’s Formula One racing drama. Set for a September 13th release in the UK and a September 27th bow in the US, ‘Rush’ centers on the 1970s rivalry between Austrian driver Niki Lauda and British driver James Hunt. ‘Inglorious Basterds’ star Daniel Brühl is playing Lauda with Chris Hemsworth taking on the role of Hunt. The likes of Olivia Wilde (TRON: Legacy) and Alexandra Maria Lara (The Reader) co-star. Helmed by Oscar-winner Ron Howard, the script for ‘Rush’ is by Peter Morgan (Frost/Nixon, The Queen). Hans Zimmer’s ‘Rush’ soundtrack will be released on September 9th. Look out for my interviews for the film later this week.
