Williams as Jack Lewis, Alex’s former partner; Gary Oldman as Norton, the scientist who creates RoboCop and finds himself torn between the ideals of the machine trying to rediscover its humanity and the callous needs of a corporation; Jackie Earle Haley as Maddox, a military tactician responsible for training RoboCop; Jay Baruchel as Pope, the head of marketing for Omnicorp; Jennifer Ehle as Liz Kline; and Marianne Jean-Baptiste as Karen Dean, Detroit chief of police. The screenplay for ‘RoboCop’ is by Josh Zetumer and Nick Schenk, based on the 1987 motion picture written by Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner.
